i wonder what it would be like to live for a 1000 years. i guess it's like "highlander". you'd just go around and pick fights until you lose your head or time is over. week 53999 would have a lot of partying i'm sure. getting saved with a hangover.

The "new" scrolls are abandoned - No explanation given!
by The Searcher inthe september 1st watchtower 2012, page 16, discards very quietly a false teaching first invented in 1985, and repeated 4 times since - "new scrolls" - interpolating revelation 20:12. here is what it says;.
"the resurrected ones will be judged, not on the basis of what they did before they died, but on what they do when the contents of the "scrolls" mentioned in revelation chapter 20 are revealed.
(romans 6:7) among those who will come back to life and have the opportunity to learn about god are "both the righteous and the unrighteous," said the apostle paul.

TRUE christians wouldn't be on this forum, because they don't have access to the internet. after all a TRUE christian sold everything and gave it to the poor to walk around proclaiming the good news. i for one haven't heard too much good news lately.

hemoglobin sausage
by J. Hofer insince jws have been allowed blood fractions for some time now, and sice refusing a life saving blood transfusion is clearly more extreme than the original biblical nutrition commandment, i'm now planning to step into a whole new business:.
blood fraction sausages: hemoglobin mortadella, hot albumin dogs or immunoglobulin salami.. would there be a market for that?
would it be ok for jws to eat those?.

it occurred to me, that is, like, oh my gawd, soooo old testament!
is there any other place in the new testament where a person was immediately executed by god for their error?

on a side note, why did they use "jehovah" in Acts 12:23? it's no "old testament" quote and it doesn't even help their theology. they just put it there for the fun of it or to not repeat the word "god"?

this is how you identify the one true religion:
- it preaches free thinking and freedom of speech
- it doesn't stick to ancient writings that have no practical value in the present time
- it doesn't pressure people to do things they don't want to do
- it treats people equaly, no matter what sex, sexual preference or ethnicity you have
- it condones normal human behaviour, like partying, using drugs, sex etc.
